These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at aitranslator.bashige.com (the “Site”) and describe important conditions related to the Bashige AI Translator desktop software (the “App”) as offered by or on behalf of Bashige Studio (“we,” “us”).
By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. Separate terms from third parties (including LLM providers and app stores) may also apply.
These Terms are not legal advice. Review with counsel if you need guidance for your use case or jurisdiction.
The Site provides general information about the App, including download pointers and documentation-style content. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.
The App is provided separately (for example, via GitHub Releases). Your use of the App is additionally subject to any license or notice shipped with that build. The App is a client: you are responsible for configuring API credentials and for complying with the terms, pricing, and acceptable-use rules of each third-party provider you connect.
You agree not to misuse the Site or the App, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfere with security, scrape the Site in a way that harms performance, use the Site to distribute malware, or violate applicable law. You must not use translation features for unlawful, harmful, or rights-infringing content where prohibited by law or by your provider’s policies.
The Site’s design, text, logos, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. The App is licensed as stated in its accompanying license file (for example, an open-source license where applicable). Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
The Site may link to third-party websites (including GitHub, LLM providers, or partners). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
Affiliate links: Some links may be referral or affiliate links (for example to WaveSpeed AI). We may earn a commission when you use them, as disclosed on the relevant pages. That compensation does not affect our obligation to describe the App fairly; you may use any compatible provider you prefer.
THE SITE AND THE APP ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Machine translation may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes purposes.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, CONTRIBUTORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from these Terms or the Site shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us specifically for the Site in the twelve (12) months before the claim (typically zero for a free informational site) or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD 50), unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bashige Studio and its contributors from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site or App, your content, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on the Site and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where allowed by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Site, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts or authorities in relevant jurisdictions may have exclusive or non-exclusive competence depending on local law.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
